Privacy policy

Doppel is run by Ved Consultancy (ved.us). It helps you turn events you attend, and photos you take there, into social media posts. This page explains what Doppel reads, stores and shares.

What we access

• Google account: your name and email, to sign you in.
• Google Calendar (read-only): the title, time, place and description of your events for the past two weeks and next month, to suggest what to post about. We never change your calendar.
• LinkedIn: your name and member id, and permission to publish posts you approve. We post only when you press Post or schedule a post.
• Photos and notes you add, and posts you write or edit in Doppel.
• Company pages: details you enter about a company, files you upload, and a Buffer or Higgsfield key if you add one.

How we use it

Only to provide Doppel to you: sorting your events, writing drafts, creating images for company posts, publishing what you approve, and sending notifications you turn on. Your event details, notes and photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to write drafts; Anthropic does not use API data to train its models. Company image prompts are sent to Higgsfield when you ask for an image.

Doppel's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or let people read it except when you ask us for support or the law requires it.

Where it is stored

In Supabase (database and private file storage) and Vercel (hosting), in the United States. Sign-in tokens for Google, LinkedIn, Buffer and Higgsfield are stored so only Doppel's server can read them.

People in your photos

Doppel names or tags nobody unless you list them as OK to name. It stores only what you enter about them.

Your choices

• Disconnect Google or LinkedIn at any time in Settings. You can also remove Doppel's access from your Google or LinkedIn account settings.
• Delete your account in Settings. This deletes your profile, events, photos, drafts, company pages and files right away.
